Swansea wedding photographers - Packages & Prices

As a professional photographer my job is thinking about shooting anything the bride and groom might find interesting. What I really become is your very own personal photographer for the day, and evening shooting anything you ask for, and anything I see in an effort to create a complete record of the day.
Typically the day starts early for me at the hairdressers, or your home as you prepare for the day ahead and continues late into the evening, capturing images of all the big moments as well as the smaller details. Anything that catches my interest is captured. Every smile, every tear, nothing is too small. The photos are candid with a few of the more traditional style that will capture the romance, spontaneity and fun of the occasion. It will be the whole story of your day. Beautiful and unstaged images are what my style of photography is all about. The actual number of images taken during can vary from around 400 in a small informal wedding to over 1300 in a larger and more formal wedding.
If the style of photography you require is of a more traditional style then that will not be a problem. Remember this is your day.
Weddings are extremely personal. Below I have outlined some of the more popular wedding photography packages that have been chosen by my clients during 2007 and 2008. If you are unsure about what you actually want then these examples will give you a feel for what I can offer you and what other people have asked for. However I will tailor fit your needs into a package that is unique and as individual as you are.
At least two meetings at your home to discuss your day (must be within 60 mile of Swansea), the various styles of photography that I can offer you from traditional to reportage to documentary. Printing and print options along with the different styles and sizes of albums that are available to you should you decide to choose one. Usually one meeting takes place about 6 - 8 weeks before your wedding to go through the "essential shots", relevant times on the day and different styles of photography. Our other meeting usually takes place after your wedding where we will go through the print, album and slideshow options. Also included in every package that I offer is an unlimited amount of email communication as well as any telephone calls after your booking has been made to go through any aspect of your day
Travel to and from your location up to 60 miles one way. This includes the two meetings that we will have. Many photographers can charge up to 40p per mile travelling allowance after 25 - 30 miles. I am also very happy to quote on any commission within the UK as well as internationally.
When you commission me my services will be for the whole of your day and most of the evening apart from half day shoot. This is where I differentiate myself from many other photographers who will charge you by the hour after they have already charged you for photographing the ceremony and the cutting of the cake. My day might start from early in the morning as you prepare for the day ahead, up to and including the first dance in the evening. I will be there for the duration of the day and most of the evening to record all of the memorable moments. There will not be any rushing of photos and if the day is running late then we can continue in a relaxed manner after your wedding breakfast and speeches are over. Traditional and group shots, speeches, cutting of the cake, candid shots of your guests - nothing will be missed. Many photographers will only make themselves available up to the speeches and could charge as much as £75 per hour to return to do an evening shoot. All my prices are up front. There are no hidden extras
Prices will also be fixed once a booking fee is received and your complete package is confirmed. There are no hidden extras no matter how long you book in advance.
Two proofing DVD's (all images in low resolution) are normally supplied if online proofing is not required.
Online slideshows and proofing of images can be made available from your own private gallery which is password protected. This would be at an additional cost of £30. Family and friends can order prints and pay online via the PayPal system. Any prints ordered can be delivered direct to their home. (Many of my clients have said that they prefer to proof their images from a proofing CD. They have found it a much more relaxed and more accurate way of proofing their images).
ALL IMAGES taken during the day and evening will be supplied in high resolution jpeg files on DVD. Typically the amount of images supplied on DVD is around 600 images from a full day's shoot. Again many photographers will charge you extra for this service or will only supply a limited amount of images. The images that I will supply you will be yours to keep and will be of high resolution in jpeg format for you to print to A3 or even larger. Each DVD comes with its own usage licence which permits personal home use for copying and printing. Printing, distribution and copying for financial gain is strictly prohibited. If you wish to display any image on-line then all I ask is that that you highlight my name as the originator of the image/s being used.
Includes all of my standard features apart from amount of coverage this package is more suited to the smaller, more informal wedding. Coverage starts from guests and grooms arrival at the venue/church etc, brides arrival, ceremony, location shoot after ceremony speeches, cutting of the cake hours of coverage is around 4 hours.
Includes all of my standard features all day and evening coverage up to first dance.
Bracelet Collection - £595
Includes all the features of The Digital Collection with the additional benefit of 30 no 9 x 6 prints that have been fully colour corrected. A saving of over £74 if purchased individually.
Langland Collection - £695
Includes all of the features of The Digital Collection with the additional benefit of 25 no 10" x 8" or 12" x 8" and 2 no 16" x 12" prints that have been fully colour corrected. A saving of over £100 if purchased separately.
Caswell Collection - £795
Includes all of the features of The Digital Collection with the additional benefit of 25 no 10" x 8" or 12" x 8", & 6 no - 20 x 16 prints that have been fully colour corrected along with a DVD slideshow set to music. This slideshow will consist of approximately 100 images and lasts for around 20 - 25 minutes. It is an ideal and relaxed way of viewing some of your favourite images as you zoom in and pan each one in turn to music. The DVD is mounted within a luxury presentation case. A saving of £100 if purchased separately.
All prices within the album packages section include all of my standard features - (full day coverage up to and inc first dance).
If ordering a DVD slideshow with any album package the additional cost would be £70. Any additional DVD slideshow copies for friends or family would be £20.

I have listed below the four most popular choices of album that my clients have chosen for 2007 & 2008. This may help you decide on which album best suits you. Package 1
I will print, mount and laminate your chosen image in one of many frame mouldings and in a choice of many different print layouts. Because of the vast amount of choice you have when choosing a mounted or framed print prices can be discussed when you are ready to select your style of frame and type of print lustre, high gloss, metallic etc. Below I have listed some price examples of print only, mounted and printed and composite mounted prints.
I am very happy to discuss with you any special requirements you may want of your images. This would be at an additional cost. My hourly rate for this service is £20. Such services would possibly include montages, selective colouring (colour popping) etc.
DVD slideshows can be purchased separately. They can be set to music and usually last for around 15 minutes. The DVD itself is presented in a luxury presentation case. If purchased separately the cost of this would be £100. Should you wish to purchase any additional DVD slideshow copies for friends or family the cost would be £20
Digital retouching, mounting and laminating, framed prints, acrylic range of images, canvas wraps and gallery prints up to 60" x 40", MDF block wraps, box frames, preview books. For exact costs on these products please email me or use the contact me section.
All prices quoted include postage and packaging and VAT where applicable.
A booking fee of £200 is required with all wedding packages to secure your date. If booking a Prom Night shoot a booking fee of £50 would apply.
